‘Flights of Fancy’ is being launched at the Bateman’s Bay Writers’ Festival, the long weekend in June, 2015
This anthology celebrates 21 years of Eurobodalla Writers: 21 writers, 48 stories and poems by writers from a huge range of backgrounds and ages, and all living in the Eurobodalla. Some are published authors, a number of times over; some have won prizes. What connects them all is a love of storytelling and writing. A broad-ranging selection on many different themes, these stories will entertain, amuse, inspire and bring the reader to reflect on subjects both familiar and unfamiliar.
Launching the anthology will be Debbie Richardson, the much-published author of ‘The Bird With a Broken Wing’ and 5 other novels. Debbie is an engaging and stimulating speaker and workshop presenter, who we are happy to have snared to the Eurobodalla and to the launch.
Come along to the launch at 4.45 pm on June 6 to the Festival Hub Marquee, purchase a drink from the bar and enjoy the smooth sounds of local band, Sarabande. Sarabande is making a name for itself for excellent music at a comfortable volume. Their repertoire is Jazz-based and includes songs we all love to dance and listen to, or savour as a back drop to dining.
