I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year but it time to get back to it. So here is the reminder that we begin 2014 meetings next week – 4 & 5 February. The evening group is meeting at the Dr MacKay centre at 6.30pm on Tuesday evening (4th) and the day group is meeting same place but on Wednesday from 10.30am (5th). Look forward to seeing you all there.
I’ve uploaded the program for the year – click this Euro FAW Program 2014 for a look. It’s a bit different from past years and includes a couple of excursions and some innovative topics. Thanks to Rosie and Dianne for getting it together and also to the members for their suggestions.
This year we will continue with the Q&A every 2nd month. Robin will coordinate this and the first one will be done by Vicki M. Should be fun.
There is no preparation for this Wednesday’s meeting. Bring pencil and paper for some work on the day.
The submissions for our anniversary anthology have closed and the Editor is looking forward to reading them. We hope to have it out by October 2014. The title is ‘Mutable States’ and it’s about change. I’ll bet there is going to be a broad range of stories and genre’s – enough to tickle anyone’s reading fancy.
If you want to join in, just come to any of the meetings or check out our ‘Contact Us’ page.
