Literary and Art Salons – a performance writing experience

The Eurobodalla Literary and Art Salons showcase the work of two strong art communities. Members from the Eurobodalla of Writers are paired with local artists and select an artwork that inspires them to write a short story or poem of up to 750 words.

Writers and artists present their work over two evening events at the Moruya Library. The Salon structure enables each writer and artist to present their work, inspiration, and techniques in an intimate setting. There is time for audience questions and an opportunity for further discussion during the event. A unique annual event, the Salons demonstrate the diverse creativity of the Eurobodalla, with the writing often quite different from the artist’s original inspiration.
